  1. WEEK 9

    Weight – 189

Well, this is fun. I gained weight last week. Hmmmm…I think I need to do some re-evaluating. Good thing my Green Smoothie Challenge starts on Monday!

  2. WEEK 8

    Weight – 188 lbs

I lost 1.6 lbs last week, for a total 8 week weight loss of 15.4 lbs. Not bad! 🙂

I lost 3.4 lbs last week for a 7 week weight loss of 13.8 lbs! Not bad!

This last week has been such a pleasure. I haven’t made the same meal twice, and I am really enjoying discovering new recipes.

While this weight loss hasn’t been dramatic or fast, it has been steady…and SO easy. I wish I had discovered this lifestyle long ago.

  5. Week 6

    Weight – 193 lbs

I gained a little last week. The culprit? Nuts and avocados! I found myself snacking on nuts any time I felt hungry. Bad idea! 🙂

As for the avocados… I’m guessing an entire avocado per day is a bit much? 🙂

Oh well. Next week, I will endeavor to improve!!

  6. WEEK 5

    Weight – 192.4

    Waist – 32″

    Hips – 45″

    Jean Size – 18 loose

    Top size – XL

I lost 1.6 lbs last week, for a 5 week total of 11 lbs!

I didn’t drink as many smoothies last week, and I ate more nuts than I should have. This week I am going to drink at least 48 oz per day. I have a feeling my weight loss will be more significant if I do that.

Wow Jackie! I am really proud of you. I am also positive that I need a vitamix blender. I tried to make green soup last night. While it turned out really good, I filled up my kitchen with dirty dishes…. too much work. They are still sitting there this morning. Ugh! I watched youtube videos about the vitamix. I am sold.

Way to go, Jackie!!! I will start measuring myself as well, but please remind me if you notice I haven’t done it in a while. Health-wise, it is great that your waist is so small. That means you are carrying your weight in a healthier way than I am. Your few pounds at a time philosophy is right on target. It will also give your body a chance to pull your skin in as the fat disappears so you don’t end up as saggy as those gals that get gastric bypass for instance. Looks like starting this, you’ve got a full 20 lb headstart over me, but Im hoping since mine is in part “baby weight”, that it will come off at a faster rate than the rest of it. Maybe I’ll catch up to you yet! Im always good for a healthy challenge.

  11. Jackie says:

    Week 1

    Weight – 201

    Waist -33.5

    Hips – 46.5

    Jean Size -18

    Top Size – 1X

I lost 2.4 lbs this last week!! My size 18 jeans aren’t tight any more, and I lost an inch around my waist! I know it doesn’t sound like a huge achievement, but I am not looking for dramatic weight loss. This weight came on a few pounds at a time, and it will leave the same way!

My vegan challenge is 40 weeks long. In order to reach my ideal weight of 145 lbs, I need to lose an average of 1.5 lbs per week. This is a very realistic goal, and I KNOW that I will have absolutely NO problem reaching it! 🙂

  12. Jackie says:

    Day One:

    Weight – 203.4

    Waist – 34.5″

    Hips – 47″

    Jean size – 18 tight

    Top size – 1X

No comment. My stats speak for themselves! 😦
