Granola is my most favorite cereal, but it is disgustingly expensive. Here is a recipe that will cost you pennies, and is amazingly delicious!

2/3 cup organic sweetener of your choice. (I prefer agave)
1/4 cup organic olive, canola, or coconut oil.
1/3 c honey

Cook over medium heat until bubbly, and sugar has dissolved.

Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix

5 cups rolled oats (NOT instant!)
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
Generous portions of your favorite mix-ins.

I usually put in about a cup of each: ground yellow flax, raw sunflower seeds, raw pumpkin seeds, and raw coconut.

Add sugar mixture to oat mixture. Mix until well combined. Spread out on a large, greased, cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 11 min.

Stir several times while it cools, to ensure that it doesn’t harden into a giant granola bar. (although that would be tasty!)

DONT OVER COOK!

Enjoy! (you can’t buy granola this good!)
